Riverside Got Fancy is a stunning type of mare with 3 excellent paces, highlighted by an expressive trot and excellent round canter. She is broken to saddle but sustained an injury whilst being broken so has been retired to be a broodmare, she may even be a riding prospect in the future as she is currently 100% paddock sound. Fancy has been fully examined for reproductive soundness by an equine reproductive vet and has been found to be in excellent reproductive health, this being proven with a first insemination pregnancy to Contenda (imp). At 7 years of age Riverside Got Fancy is a young mare with a long breeding future ahead of her.

Fancy is sold in foal to Contenda (IMP) gt;, with the foal due in September/October 2009.I believe the combination of Contenda€™s blood lines with those of Grannus 11, Falkrich and Fremder will produce dual purpose progeny of the highest level. Fancy€™s type and conformation is also ideally complemented by that of Contenda€™s. In Germany,the cross of Contendro 1 and Grannus bred mares has proved to be very successful and the crosses of these 2 bloodlines are highly sought after and are attracting top prices at both auctions and in private sales.

Riverside Got Fancy has produced a beautiful filly foal to Contenda this season - Wimborne Constanz - this is proof that the combination works. The filly has a wonderful friendly realaxed temperament and is an outstanding type. She has already been seen jumping logs in the paddock with amazing grace and ease.
