Video footage of Wimborne Prodigy just broken to saddle as a 4 year old 

Wimborne Prodigy ( aka Pablo) is a very handsome warmblood gelding who I expect to mature at  16.3hh +. Pablo is currently 4 years old.  He has been broken in by Brett Davey of Richmond, NSW, with his 8 weeks of basic education under saddle being completed at the end of January 2012. This 8 week period included a weeks worth of training at a horse riding training camp in Orange, NSW - Pablo handled the float trip, atmosphere,new enviroment, crowds of children and spectators with ease. After the breaking in process Pablo had a 6 week break before starting regular work with 4 star eventer Cassandra Webb.

Wimborne Prodigy is showing the potential to be a top level competition horse under saddle. He has an upstanding, uphill frame under saddle and an undeniable presence. Brett has descibed Pablo's canter as exceptional and has said that Pablo gives you an incredible feel under saddle. Brett believes that the first ambitious rider to ride this horse will want to buy him. 

Pablo is a very special horse and not one that you come accross everyday. He is an ideal mount for young horse classes for both dressage and eventing. He will be ideal for the ambitious or elite rider who is looking for that special horse to help them stand out from the crowd.

Pablo has very correct conformation and is a pleasure to deal with in all ways.

As would be expected from his breeding Pablo has 3 excellent paces with a particularly good canter. Pablo's movement is straight and expressive and would be ideal for the dressage arena.

Pablo has also shown an aptitude and liking for freejumping, making an eventing or showjumping home
a possibility as well.

Pablo has been well handled and is easy to lead, tie up, wash,rug, lunge, trim his feet, shoe, float etc.

Pablo does have a scar on his right hind leg from a fence injury as a weanling. This scar is a superficial cosmetic blemish only and is not associated with any soundness issues.The scar is present in all the photos and video footage on this website.

Pablo's sire is the stunning stallion, Poetry in Motion, owned by Meridian Warmbloods. Poetry in Motion has produced numerous progeny that are already excelling in the showring and as his eldest progeny are just starting under saddle will soon be see arriving on the dressage and eventing scenes. Poetry in Motion's pedigree is full of great dual purpose performance horses such as Pommery ( winner of the dressage phase of his stallion licensing), the great Donnerhall, Salute (sire of Victory Salute, Staccato, Stirling Stilton), PIk Bube 1 and Absatz. Pablo's Dam is Wimborne Paris, a full sister to our stallion Remembrance Day. Paris's sire is the prolific Thoroughbred performance horse sire, Flamboyant (sire of Alkyra Flamboyance, Alkyra Elegance, Supernatural... just to name a few). Paris has the refinement of her Thoroughbred sire and the suspension and expression in her movement of her materal warmblood line. Paris's dam is our foundation mare, Christadorf , who is by Ludendorf (imp)(sire of mulitple FEI dressage and eventing horses) out of a Wesuw (imp) mare.

The stud will be retaining Pablo's full sister, Wimborne Prada. Wimborne Prada is currently in foal to Contenda - we cannot wait to see this foal!

All of Paris's progeny have had wonderful trainable temperaments and been very attractive types.
